Dance Guild News
The Dance Guild is a volunteer support group assembled to encourage the growth and performance of Newnan School of Dance. The Dance Guild is to assist the staff at Newnan School of Dance. We are the ones who host the Christmas party and assist backstage at the annual recital. There are many more things we could do if we had more parents involved with the guild. We meet once a month for a brief time; meeting rarely lasts more than 45 minutes to one hour. All parents, Moms and Dads are welcome and encouraged to join the dance guild. There are no dues, but we do explore ways to raise money. The Recital fee that is charged in no way covers all the expenses of a recital. One of the ways we are going to raise money this year is to raffle off a hand-made, queen size quilt at the year end recital. We realize that everyone is busy, and time is a limited resource, but we need new members with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Please, give the dance guild some consideration when planning the school year. Thank you, The Dance Guild
